Google adwords shows that there is malware on our bigcommerce site and bigsommerce cannot help or figure out what the deal is. So $200 a month for two years and we can’t even list our products on google ads and probably losing a ton of sales. My competition uses bigcommerce and they are all on google ads,and we didn’t do anything extra or out of the ordinary to our site so why is tgis so complicated?

I am a small business - brick and mortar - and about a year ago decided to move into e-commerce as well. I chose Big Commerce after much research. I use Square in my b&m and everything I found said BC would run my front end and the back end seamlessly keeping track of inventory, etc. Huge Fail. Every single time something is sold in my b&m, BC takes TWO out of inventory. I've been waiting on a fix for more than six months. Their solution, per Connor, Technical Lead on 11/1/2018: "When I reference keeping the inventory separate for now, the suggestion is to separate the inventory out and have some of each product in both systems. As an example, if you have 5 of an item, you would have 3 in Square and 2 in Big Commerce. If one sells out in one system, you can move it over from the other. This can potentially save some time recounting inventory. I understand that this proposed suggestion is not perfect, however, if it saves some time it may be worth a try. In the meantime, our engineering team is working on a fix for this issue and you will be notified by email once it has been solved. " I am a small business. Sometimes I only have one of an item. How do I split that between two systems and who the heck has the time to do all this??? I'm trying to grow my business on-line. Not create more work. Miserable display of customer service. It is now the end of February 2019 and still no fix in sight. Pathetic.

After 7 yrs w/ BigCommerce - We are leaving at the end of 2019. Currently working on our new store right now w/ Webflow (Website & Ecom in one). - BigComm's prices have skyrocketed! - Their once excellent service has SERIOUSLY declined. - SEO benefits - Don't make me laugh! - SSL? It's extra... and they don't bother telling you it is now required by Google Gods (so my previously ranked store pages disappeared). All in all - they started great. Now - Hell no. $250 a month just of an ecom store? Not happening anymore! STOP FOCUSING ONLY ON GROWING - And refocus on the issues you currently have w/ your current customers. You CAN NOT continue to grow when you are losing customer (that post negative reviews). And again - you charge WAY too much. A 350% price hike? That's what got me looking at other options. Too many other competitors out there.

Big Commerce doesn't care about their customers. Any time you call with an issue, like the fact that they were suppose to downgrade your account from $199.95 to $79.95 a month but didn't, they treat you horribly and don't take care of the issue of refunding you. Stick with Shopify, I have stores at both, Shopify cares about making it right with their customers. Big Commerce just hijacks your website knowing you can't shut it down or move it to another site quickly, they are short term scam artists that won't retain their customers long term.

Horrible. I should have never switched from 3dCart. Big Commerce high pressure sales promised the world, Cost 6 times what I was paying with 3dCart. Import / Export functionality is the worst. Other than SKU# and price nothing else can be changed using export function. Have 13,000 sku's on my site...ALL MUST BE CHANGES MANUALLY !!! Reports are a joke. Tax reports with 3dCart... One Click; with Big Commerce you have to Export to spreadsheet and manipulate columns. Lost customers due to Big Commerce.
