Had a great experience at BetterMed Urgent Care in Mechanicsville, VA. On a day when I was running a temperature and x-ray ended up showing I had pneumonia, Alexia and others in office couldn't have been more thorough and empathetic. Everything was clearly explained, and I even received a much appreciated handout from the visit showing meds I'd been prescribed, etc. This was my third visit there for various ailments. Good experience every time.

Horrible experience. Went in to get a prescription refill I needed because I had to leave town and couldn’t get into PCP in time. Was told in a condescending manner that this is an emergency clinic. Wouldn’t give me a refill for my blood pressure meds and so I left. I went to Patient First and got a refill. Thank you Trust Pilot for reminding me to review this place.

I've never had a negative experience at any BetterMed location (I've visited three times). The bedside manner of everyone there is incredible, and they're very focused on making sure you'll get better as opposed to treating symptoms one at a time and telling you to see your doctor.

I thought they did very well the only complaint I have is that I had a injured ankle and was made to walk to the exam room and to get an xray which turned out to be broken and was very painful. The offer of a wheelchair would have been welcome.

This facility is amazing! Every person that you encounter there, from the moment you check-in to the moment that you see the medical staff, is incredibly professional, kind, compassionate, and patient. BetterMed is my go-to for those times when I just can't get an appointment with my primary care physician on my schedule. I am so grateful to have them nearby.

Always quick, easy in and out as well as thorough. Just what you want and need when unexpectedly under the weather.
