My experience was good other than the requirement to leave a payment method on record. I have never been required to do this at any other health care provider I visit and it made me very uncomfortable. I could understand this if I was uninsured but that is not the case. I have excellent insurance. It makes my likelihood of returning for a visit very low. There was no option not to do this...felt obligated if I wanted to keep the appointment.

TestForTravel.com lists facilities that provide COVID19 travel test results in 72 hours or less. BetterMed is listed on TestForTravel.com as a facility that provides COVID19 travel test results in 15 minutes. However, only after no one answered the 7 phone calls phones in Oct to the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania VA locations, and driving to the Dec appointment, I was told by the testing nurse the COVID19 travel tests they offer have 3 to 5 days for results. It felt kind of Bait-and-Switchy (not saying they were doing that). BetterMed should correct the info listed about their company on TestForTravel.com, answer their phones, and state on the BetterMed website the the have a 15 minute rapid test that is not accepted by airports and many countries requiring test to enter and there real COVID19 travel test results are 3-5 which is too long for countries requiring results in less than 3 days. The receptionist was nice though.

The technician who did our COVID test was great; the process for doing the test is not user friendly, especially when doing family tests. Although I asked the front desk if my children and I could be swabbed at same time, I was told no. The tech who called before allowing us in for the Covid test said yes. Your intake process can be modified for families because it’s very difficult to have to book numerous appointments.

I gave my insurance for me and my newborn and a week later they charge my account for 278 for my new born for COVID testing as if times isn’t hard enough the do this on Christmas Eve. As if I wasn’t stressed out enough!!!
