I hate the price for the value. I feel like it should be lower.

On a scale of 1-10, you guys would barely score a 1; and that’s being generous. The only reason you get one star is because James, my most recent therapist is the best person I’ve gotten the chance to know. I didn’t even get to complete my intake before you guys ripped away my free trial. I was expecting that my trial would start over once I got matched with James because of my horrendous experience with my last matched therapist. But nah, you guys quickly tried to sink your teeth into my credit card and since I hadn’t even had a chance to really “try” out the service, I immediately canceled. For one, it’s very very obvious that you guys are only here for your bottom line and profits. You claim to be making therapy “more accessible” but completely overprice your services. You cannot charge the SAME amount as in person therapy and claim to give it for ‘a fraction of the cost’. Quite frankly that’s false advertisement and not true at all. I completed your offered rate to therapy in my area, and you guys charge just as much as a traditional therapist. I cannot afford the prices you list out, and you guys could not care less. Every single interaction that I’ve ever had with a member of the ‘Betterhelp Support Team’ has been beyond rude, condescending and unhelpful. You guys aren’t helping people, you’re taking advantage of people who are already seeking help in this dark world. You should all be very ashamed of yourselves.

Actually a nightmare. I tried to quit ages ago, after it took a month to find me a therapist, a total waste of 160 quid. A week later, I'm assigned another, and she doesn't work out due to betterhelp's technical issues, so I decide to quit and look elsewhere. I've just checked my bank and I'm somehow still assigned my first therapist and they charged me for her for 5 months. Meanwhile I found a woman I love on Bark within 1 hour 3 months ago... honestly try anything else.

Better help matched me with a therapist in the US while I live in Germany. I booked an appointment with her thinking it was in the afternoon. It was during the night and not in the afternoon. She's indeed only available after midnight ghe whole month. Waste of time. I might be charged because I missed an appointment 3 am. Really not cool..

This seems to be a very good service very reliable and respond to any concerns i may have in a timely manner.

Here is an account to my one month exposure to a therapist that represented Better Help. I left several texts for my therapist and received one minimal answer. Then when we had a phone conversation she had several long pauses (I had to ask if she was still there) and heard her eating while waiting for responses. This is not my concept of professionalism when it comes to therapists of any kind. It only adds to my perception of many (not all) therapists are more in need of a good therapist than many of their clients. I walked away dissatisfied. Then, after I cancelled my account with Better Help, they still tried to charge my account for an additional month. Thankfully, I blocked them from my card and bank before getting charged. If you choose to use their services, take care.

The therapy is okay, but don't try to cancel your subscription. I'm in about the upteenth week of trying to get my money back. I had about 2 sessions with a new therapist after my old therapist quit. This apparently a pervasive problem. The new therapist was very mismatched to my needs (and only gets paid $20 or $30 per session) as well as out of my time zone so could rarely meet with me. Save your money and get a real therapist in real time who can really hear you. Unlikely a live therapist will charge you for therapy you never had.

I signed up for Betterhelp.com for 1 month. I did two calls and found it very unhelpful. I sent in an email requesting a cancellation and a refund of half of the money since it was so difficult to use, schedule times, fill out many forms for multiple people. I thought the account had been canceled. Instead, they did not cancel and did not refund the 1/2 months and continued to charge me for six months. Here are the transaction ids from PayPal. If someone had not logged in a single time in months you would think someone would call me and see what is going on. Not just keep charging someone for nothing like a greedy evil company. They took advantage of me and I want every penny back. I have called and left messages to a service since they do not actually answer the phone. I keep getting only run-around emails saying I need to email from a correct email even though I sent them the same proof I am sending you. They want me to log in to my account but they closed it and when I reset the password, I get nothing. THIS SECOND PART IS WRITTEN ON 9/13/2021 I have not been called a single time. I have sent the exact Paypal account they took the money I did not agree to. I added the exact transaction ids for each item. I get run-around emails saying that unfortunately, they do not call customers. So, just get it that this company is one big scam. They set up zoom calls all day but refuse to speak with an upset customer. Instead of just refunding the money for months where I never even checked in to the website as I thought it had been canceled. They are trying to tell me that I need to send the date of the charge now even though the 16 digit transaction code has everything they need. I have to send 3 more emails, speak with an attorney to get the money back and send a complaint through Paypal resolutions to get my money back. Do not pick this company for anything.........
