Trying to find a councilor in my area proved daunting financially as well as confidence wise. I've been really pleased with the care of my councilor. I feel a great connection with her. This service is a fantastic idea for people who are in need of care but cannot fully afford counseling services in an office. This is a perfect way to make people feel more comfortable and open with their thoughts and feelings. FANTASTIC IDEA!

Its an amazing thing to be able to get counseling in the comfort of your own home! Annie has been wonderful and so helpful to me at a time that I needed it most. She even emails me to check on me. I strongly recommend this innovative method for counseling. You can do a live video session so its even better to me than having to go to an office.

Dr. Love is amazing! She has the ability to make an online platform feel as though I’m in her presence on her couch! She has challenged me in so many ways, and walked me through some very hard issues. She doesn’t beat around the bush, she meets you where you are and helps you process through whatever you are facing at that moment. While being absolutely professional she expresses herself in a way that I can easily understand. She never talks above my head and is far from stiff and aloof. Her counseling style is comforting, nurturing, but still straight forward and raw. She is a breeze to talk to and is far from judgmental, she is understanding and takes the time to really to gain a from grasp on not just your issue at hand, but who you are, where you’ve been and where you want to go. I’m so thankful for Dr. Love’s help, she is an embodiment of her name and given me so much hope and a deeper appreciation for this field.

I have been utilizing betterhelp for about a month. I have been very impressed. I am sure online counseling isn't for everyone. However, I have been pleasantly surprised at how effective it has been for me thus far. I have found the counselor I was paired with to be effective and the price point really helps our family since the budget is tight. Unless something drastically changes with the company, I would have no reservations recommending these services to others.

My counselor on BetterHelp is fantastic. It would be nice if the video system could be used over a data network (it only works on wifi).

I'm in a particularly hectic season of my life right now, and this has been a lifesaver. Most weeks, there's no way I could find the time to go to a real appointment--the commuting, the waiting, etc.--especially during the hours that most therapists' offices keep. With Betterhelp, I can make my appointments at 9 pm on Saturday nights, that way I don't have to take time away from work or hire a babysitter. It's perfect, and it's been a huge help in my life lately. I highly recommend, especially if a traditional schedule is not an option for you.

Finding the right therapist is the trick, and Betterhelp makes it easy for you to find one. If the first one matched for you doens't work for you, don't give up, try the others. You're encouraged to keep trying. Everybody is different and have different needs. I was fortunate to have found an excellent therapist that has really been of help, keeping me engaged during a very difficult time for me, using a variety of means including messaging, chats, worksheets, and phone conversations. There is no way this can be duplicated with visits at some therapist's office.

Betterhelp has been tremendously helpful. My counselor is amazing and is very accommodating to my schedule.
