I have been in therapy for four and a half years, and in those years I have had 5 therapists. One of the biggest issues was my disconnection with my therapists that I've had, making the sessions unsuccessful and I left feeling worse than how I went in. Betterhelp matched me to the best therapist I have ever had through their quiz they have you take. I have therapy chats through a message board Monday-Friday, whenever I want and however often I want. I also get to schedule live sessions with my therapist. She sends me articles and worksheets that are relevant to our discussions and uses them as tools to enhance our sessions. Customer service is awesome too. If there is ever a problem, they get back to you relatively quickly and are eager to help. Hands down would recommend!

I found the betterhelp app to be extremely easy to use, I had no problems getting it set up or changing settings at all. They also had a lot of different payment options so I could pick one that worked for me and change it when I needed to. My counselor was perfect from the start and being able to be in contact with her at any time allowed me to be able to address my feelings as they were happening instead of trying to recount how I felt later on. It's was also nice to not have to set up and day and stick to an appointment, it didn't matter how often my schedule changed I never needed to worry.

I've had a great experience with Better Help so far in my therapy experience. The therapist I was connected with has been so helpful and accommodating to me being I have never done any type of therapy, especially online. She had me set my short and long-term goals. She was great at replying to messages in a timely manner as well as giving me exercises to complete before our first session. I can already tell I will prefer online counseling verses traditional therapy. Moreover, the price is definitely less than traditional counseling which is helpful to a recent college graduate. Betterhelp is a great platform for those who don't have the time or simply don't want to meet someone in person. It is very affordable because they offer assistance for students and others who can't afford the full monthly price. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and encourage those to do it who are new to therapy.

I thought I would be getting a second rate counselor by using an online service, but my counselor with BetterHelp has been one the best counselors or therapists I have ever worked with. If you are considering using better help--I would say just do it! I am so glad I did!
