Your Health is Worth the Investment
There are some individuals who are essentially "rejected" from this service, but I truly believe that is because BetterHelp wants the best for their clients. Not every situation is suited for remote care and I do appreciate that they recognize that. I've been with BetterHelp for a year and I've received incredible guidance and counseling with every issue I brought to my sessions. There is a great flexibility in addressing concerns over long- and short-terms as well as growing/changing with life experiences. My original intent with BetterHelp is now majorly behind me, but I've received such good care that I have stayed to find support and guidance in the myriad of new concerns that have since come up in my life. Scheduling is incredibly easy and flexible - there can be as much or as little human contact as you feel comfortable with. I personally prefer video and call sessions. There are times, however, when I don't feel like interacting on that level and prefer a live text chat. As a college student, I've learned just how important it is to take care of your mental health as early as possible. BetterHelp offers a lot of financial options, but even at full cost, I believe this service is an incredible investment to that end.
