I love the weekly chat check in from my therapist. She always joins on time and expects me to do the same. Her belief in my highest good has allowed me to rise up and excel. The best part is the reminders that our sessions are coming up and easy log in! I am so glad I started therapy 3 months ago because I was better able to cope with unexpected life circumstances.

BetterHelp used a series of questions and my profile to pair me with the most compatible therapist for me. This pairing process is truly successful as I am truly satisfied with my therapist. I recommend BetterHelp wholeheartedly.

For me anxiety is a huge factor and being able to admit things and feel more comfortable it’s not face to face so having better help being an app and I feel safe in my own home when I’m talking about strong feelings. I feel as it’s really easy to use and to remember to check in on. I’ve only been using it for a few sessions so far but I really enjoy the app.

I started my journey with the goal of finding a mental health professional, to grow. I first looked into suggestions from my insurance provider UHC; as I did my research, I found people sharing stories of getting (for lack of a better word) scammed, by suggestions from UHC (*fine print and strategic words used to get you). I decided the help i needed was not there, so I started looking on the web. I found some overpriced help everywhere, needing to sign up to web platforms that the counselor/therapist was using, etc. Unsure of how costly it could become. Then a friend of mine suggested a few of her experiences and one was Betterhelp. Not only were their prices much more reasonable, but it includes tracking your goals, your journaling, classes, and therapy all in one spot. I've used their helpdesk and they have responded within 24 hours with a response and solution. They have been so helpful and very easy to work with. I'm still relatively new to this all, but if you're looking like I was, for something to start with...I would highly suggest you try them. (*I don't give out suggestions very easily...they have earned every word I am sharing).

I originally signed up for BetterHelp at the beginning of 2025 because my insurance deductible reset, making therapy sessions $135 each. Before BetterHelp, I never had a therapist who I felt was genuinely helping, even though they tried. So, I didn’t mind switching therapists “temporarily” with the intention of returning to in-person therapy covered by my insurance. What I didn’t expect was to go through one of the most incredibly difficult seasons of my life. My therapist, Naom, and the BetterHelp platform became absolute lifesavers. I’m barely on the other side of that hell, and I still have a lot of healing to do. I never planned to continue paying out of pocket for therapy, but now I can’t imagine my life without BetterHelp. One of the things I love most is the ability to choose a therapist who truly fits my needs. I selected Naom based on his background, expertise, and approach to therapy, and for the first time, I am making real progress. I feel not only hopeful but also assured (with tons of work on my end) I’ll have a future with far less worry, anxiety, and overthinking, no matter what life throws at me. A few days ago, I signed my daughter up for BetterHelp, but she hesitated because it’s “$65 for one session.” I explained to her that the $65 covers 24/7 access to text her therapist, a great journaling tool with prompts based on how she’s feeling, dozens of group therapy sessions tailored to her needs, and more. When she still wasn’t convinced, I told her, “Taking care of your mental health is a basic need. I pay for your food, shelter, and other essentials. Paying just $2.16 a day to help you be your best self is more than reasonable.” Thank you BetterHelp for pulling me out of a deep, dark whole. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me and I family with you by our side!

I had been putting off therapy subsequent to a flashback of abuse. I did not want to work with someone locally since it's a small community and many of my family members live here. BetterHelp was the perfect solution! They found me a therapist on the first try and she helped me change my life. Couldn't say more good things.
