The user experience has been really wonderful and simple. I think considering the demographic BetterHelp needs to reach, people who NEED better help specifically for them, this is an excellent application. They've done an excellent job setting up the surveys to make sure you get partnered with a great therapist with your needs. All you need to do is be honest and open.

The best thing ever. My husband and I have three kiddos and do not live near family, so regular counselors have always be tough to get to consistently. Our therapist worked with our schedule and we can easily set up time to chat once the kids go to bed, from the convenience of our own home. The Dr. we’re working with is licensed and has a ton of experience with family & relationship therapy. A great, affordable (actually cheaper) alternative to traditional therapy methods!

Great ways to get in touch with a Counselor. My Counselor Joy is very helpful with the questions she asks me and it is very helpful to speak with someone that is outside of my circle that can provide me with unbiased opinions, questions and support.

My experience has been amazing thus far. My counselor has been kind, understanding, and friendly towards me since the minute I started speaking with her. The app has 24-hour messaging, so I got to know her a little bit better before we had a video chat Plus, the messaging helps me stay on track during the week, I can message how I have been feeling over the week and when we have our counseling session, she already knows what's up. She responds within 24 hours and always have helpful, kind things to say to me. She believes in Informed Counseling, so she always explains the science behind my emotions so I have a better understanding of why I feel like this. She gives me homework so I can grow upon our session. I usually don't do reviews, but BetterHelp is worth a shot if you're looking for a therapist!
