My experience with HB has been better than some others that I have used. One it has the ability to text, call and video your therapist. I can message her if I need guidance in minor ways, other than the therapy session. The cost can hurt but it doesn't mean you can't get help. Contact BH and explain, they helped me out for the first couple months and if they hadn't I wouldn't be where I am at.

Although I have not had much experience with the Better Help app itself, the first therapist I was matched with was wonderful. It does seem like something that can make it possible for people to get help they may not otherwise get or be able to have. The different options and methods of contact offered can better accommodate people who might prefer an alternative to a traditional approach and do not get the therapy needed as a result. These different options are also making therapy possible for more by removing common blocks like logistics and finances. I feel it's easier and more likely for someone to find a therapist who is a great match here. Should there be a need to be paired with a different therapist, it is much easier to do so here than in-person therapy.
