BetterHelp has changed my life in ways that I'm not sure I can put into words. It's hard to schedule time to meet with a counselor in person with my work schedule and this has been a game changer. I went through a couple therapist on BetterHelp but have found someone who I connect with is nothing but kind and supportive. She challenges me in the ways I need but never in a way that makes me feel attacked. I've only been talking with my current counselor for about a month but the impact this has had on my life is unreal. Thank you, BetterHelp.

The site is a great way to connect with a professional and get the help you need. A solid foundation for both messaging and video calls (easy to schedule and well working). Beem using it for about a year now and I'm glad I did. Shame the video calls don't really work on Firefox for some reason but work well on Chrome. The counsellor they found for me is nothing short of amazing, supportive and helpful, always on time for sessions and responds quickly to messages.

My experience with BetterHelp has been amazing. The level of convince offered by their service makes it so easy, almost TOO easy, to get help when I need it. I receive life skills & advice & guidance from my counselor. & what’s great too is they not only offer a free 7-day trial upon request, but they have a financial aid option for those struggling to afford their service. I highly recommend this service. It’s probability saved my life.

BetterHelp is a terrific service for individuals for whom traditional therapy isn't an option. It's also a great option for people who might benefit more from taking therapy in smaller, daily doses rather than larger weekly or monthly ones. The advertising for BetterHelp isn't quite accurate, though. At least in my case, I can message my therapist as often as I want, but she will generally only respond once per day, with two days completely off per week. Which is totally fine and understandable (and works well for me), but the advertising might make some people think they would get more frequent responses than that from their assigned therapist. You can schedule live sessions if you prefer, so there is a lot of flexibility, just be aware that you are essentially paying for the equivalent of one fifty minute session's worth of therapy per week, divided up however you choose to do so (this was explained by my therapist on day one). That said, it really is a tremendously helpful option. Don't hesitate to use it if you're thinking of seeking therapy but can't or don't want to look into more traditional options.

Sometimes it takes a while to find the right therapist or plan (text only, text and video, etc), but when it works, it really works. Consider if someone who is strictly online will be helpful for your situation, but by all means take the chance. It was really worth it for me.
