BetterHelp is an amazing service with access to your counsellor daily through messaging or weekly through video chat. The counselors are extremely helpful and kind. I never feel judged and I always feel safe talking to mine.

I came from a traditional therapy setting and I loved my therapist; however, online therapy is far more convenient for me. I can update my therapist with a journal or a message when I'm feeling down (instead of having to try and remember during a weekly session). She is very encouraging and it's a great supplement to our weekly video sessions. I still prefer the traditional therapy weekly face to face type of sessions so having both options is really great. Betterhelp has these great group webinars available every week that help me not only understand more about keeping myself mentally healthy but also allow me to communicate with a very supportive community of people.

BetterHelp has found me in a place in life where ease of use could not be more important. I am able to reach my counselor in the app 24/7 if I am thinking about something, and she promptly responds. Weekly calls are there for me so we can discuss live what we work on throughout the week. There are several worksheets and outside Groupinars offered that add to the value of BetterHelp. If you do not want to drive to a therapist office each week and cry for an hour (like me!) this app offers the best solution. It's more manageable than ever to participate in therapy thanks to BetterHelp.

BetterHelp has been the most convenient form of therapy! Not everyone has access nor time to go to an office setting every week and dedicate the time to it. This makes it VERY VERY accessible. Granted, the cost is up there, since insurance cannot be used, but it is worth every single penny. The mental health crisis in this country is incredibly profound and I am very grateful to have BetterHelp at my finger tips!!
