Normally I'm selfish and don't write reviews even for products and services I love, but BetterHelp is different. Affordable even for the lowest poverty bracket, convenient to access, and some of the most effective clinical help I've ever received. Within days of beginning the free trial I had resources to help me and an open, successful dialogue established with my counselor. Committing to the membership was an easy choice, especially since my insurance doesn't cover ANY mental health services in my city. BetterHelp and its counselors are helping me become a better, healed person, and their whole team is run by cooperative, pleasant, empathetic individuals. This platform has helped me immensely. My counsellor is supportive and attentive. She really listens to me and offers constructive and positive advice that I've already put into action with success. I feel like I've known her for ages and I can turn to her for anything- the big and the small stuff- without fear of judgement. Betterhelp has brought me clarity. I feel lighter since using it and I recommend it to anyone looking for help. It's so much more convenient than having to go see a traditional counsellor. I can reach out any time I feel like I need someone. I don't have to wait for an appointment. I'm so glad I signed up.

BetterHelp is there when I need them. My counselor Lias Childers has been a great person to have in my corner. She not only listens to me and what I have to say but she gives her trusted insite and also ask me question that helps me see the bigger picture. BetterHelp is just fantastic.

BetterHelp has been life changing for me. I started using the app when I was deeply affected by seasonal affective disorder, in the middle of winter, and having a counselor available to me for messaging was just what I needed to help me get back on track. At the time, I did not have the physical energy or motivation to find and actually go to a counselor, so this was really the best possible option for me. The cost may seem somewhat expensive, but it is well worth it to have basically unlimited counseling, plus you would end up spending about the same or more in copays, not to mention if your insurance doesn't cover counseling then you would end up spending even more.

Very very good counseling, I was a little apprehensive at first. But this is a great place to get help, with excellent flexibility in contact with a counselor.

Many people that need counseling often don't pursue it because of the cost coupled with the time that it takes to leave work for more than an hour in the middle of the week. That was definitely the case for me, but BetterHelp has allowed me to have a counseling session from the convenience of my home or car without having to drive across town. I have access to worksheets or a conversation with my counselor at anytime, as well as a journal all in one place.

BetterHelp was what I needed. I did not want to go into a facility, pay a lot of money and hope that I am getting a good counselor. With BetterHelp, I was able to submit the type of therapist I wanted (their expertise) and explain what I needed and was able to get a therapist that was suited for me. Fortunately, I can always change my therapist, if we did not connect. I did have to do this and was assigned to a new one and was able to find one that was PERFECT for me. I am also able to email my therapist, call, or video call my therapist and that was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this service as this service helped me a ton. :)
