To be honest I was hesitant about this... but sometimes you just need someone who’s neutral to hear you out. Sometimes you just need to tell someone whatever’s going on that you can trust. I also appreciate how better help makes it available to all incomes etc. Something that everyone can do and afford. We all know that’s one excuse we all use to not get help, the cost. So hey I’d give it a try even if your curious about it. You never know just how much it could help you.

I was a little nervous about “virtual” counseling because I thought I would feel disconnected from my counselor but it is actually one of the greatest things ever! I can send my counselor a message at literally 1am and within 24 hours they have responded with the appropriate feedback. I’ve been using BetterHelp for long term counseling dealing with stress management, anxiety, and relationship/communication issues and of course that just covers way more than the specific topics I mentioned but it has been a tremendous help to have access to a counselor when I need them whether it is via video chat, phone calls, or messaging. I feel like I have access to the support I need when I need it and I feel like it is helping me to grow and to develop better coping skills to deal with life in general. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering it to definitely invest in using Better Help! It is worth it!!

I encourage the use of this service it’s been a great help! I found the platform easy to use on both mobile and pc. They're knowledgeable and most likely if not surely will have a good grasp and understanding of the problem your facing. It has been a very positive experience for me because I didn’t feel too comfortable in sharing what was going on with the people around me and wanted to talk to someone with years of experience on the matter. This service is for anyone seeking insight to what they're going through and wanting support during a difficult time or just want to better themselves in general and haven’t been able to find those answers they are searching for. The other convenient thing I found is being able to control the payment plan with the membership and the billing cycle. They have made it easy by including a variety of payment options, weekly, monthly.

BetterHelp is a fantastic resource, I was feeling so low and desperate and finding a counsellor on BetterHelp has made such a difference. I was matched brilliantly with a fantastic counsellor, who has a wealth of expertise and experience and has helped me make so much progress. By far the best therapy I have ever had, who highly recommend.

One of the big barriers to receiving help with mental health that I've found is the cost. BetterHelp is much cheaper than any local therapists and comes with the added convenience of it being online. Not only this but aside from the 1 session a week you can also send messages freely to your assigned therapist throughout the week which I've found to be helpful and encouraging. Plus if you don't like your therapist you can request to be matched with another. Overall no regrets about using BetterHelp and very thankful for their service.

BetterHelp has been a game changer for me. It allows an extreme ease of connection between me and someone who can actually help and fits into my non-traditional work-life. I was fortunate to be matched with someone who really fits me right off the bat and it was comforting to be able to explain specifically what type of person I was seeking help from (LGBTQ+ aware, religious, young, old, woman, man, etc). I am in my BetterHelp chat every day helping me be a better version of myself with someone who has my back and believes in me when I didn’t believe in myself. I signed up to this service as someone who has never done traditional therapy and I’m very pleased with the connection and experience I have had so far. They are very clear that they cannot help with certain types of issues and will refer out of their system if needed. Inside the app is also a bunch of resources to use at your leisure (anxiety is a big one as well as things to take while on anti-depressants, etc.) overall the experience has opened my eyes to a world of knowledge I was not finding on my own. Would highly recommend!

I’m able to talk to a professional once or twice a day by the standard messaging but I can also book in a live session (text, voice call or video chat) whenever I need to which has helped me as I’m able to talk to a professional when needed. It’s especially great for those who can’t leave their bed much due to disabilities or depression as I can stay in bed and get the help that I need. It is pricey and they did help with a special price for low income earners but it’s worth it in my opinion.
