I am so glad I have signed up with Better Help! The counsellor I have been matched with is understanding and kind. She keeps things light when they need to be but validates all my feelings. I have been using BetterHelp for a few months now and I am so pleased with the experience I have had thus far. When I originally signed they used a matching mechanism that I was kind of hesitant about, but I was placed with a counselor who couldn't be more perfect for me. She is so well educated in exactly what I needed her for and more. She has helped me grow in so many ways and I am so thankful for that. I'm really happy with how quickly she responds to my questions and how easy it is to send a quick note or touch base. My counselor is very open, honest, caring and such a wonderful person in all. For someone who has avoided therapy for years because going to the offices and handling the insurance was just too much on top of the issues I was seeking help for, BetterHelp was the answer. My phone sessions are only 30 minutes but I find that helps me to stop blabbering on about my past and what happened during the week; I end up coming to sessions to talk about the big stuff, the biggest issue, and working on it with my therapist directly. It's been a wonderful and amazing tool and I am so glad I tried it.

If you are like I was, you feel therapy is bottom on your list of needs. I wish I would have accepted help sooner because it has helped me so much, and continues to.
