My counselor is knowledgeable and available when I need to talk. She has been easy to talk to, so I feel comfortable sharing my problems with her. She has offered various tools to help me find what works best for me.

When I recently lost faith in my local health authority and the conduct of many of the professionals they employ I turned to "BetterHelp." With the hopes of an alternative to the usual lack of care and broken confidentiality at risk of a biased poorly self regulated Canadian crown corporation. I took a leap of faith and "BetterHelp" proved thier salt... Tenfold. The app is easy to navigate. Their counsellors are kind and respectful. I now have a professional counselor who I trust to be loyal to me and I do not worry about being profiled by corrupted government administrating faculty...

What an easy way to get help. Making appointments with the counselor is so easy. You don't have to travel or wait in a waiting room to see a counselor. Video sessions make you feel like you are there with the counselor but you can also choose audio/phone calls if you are more comfortable. They match you with a counselor that best fits what you are having problems with but you can choose your own or make changes anytime. I am extremely happy with my counselor and look forward to our sessions weekly. I also receive messages from her on the betterhelp app in between sessions and that makes me feel like I can reach out to her anytime I need to. I would strongly recommend betterhelp to anyone!

I have never had a good experience with counseling/"talk therapy". However, I was encouraged by my primary care doctor to use BetterHelp.com. Signing up was easy. I was nervous about the therapist I would be matched with, but I was matched with the perfect one! I have hope again, thanks to my therapist, that I can once and for all stop being a captive of my mental illness.
