My therapist is great, I just can't afford paying out of pocket for therapy. I pay $360/mo with therapy which as a single parent is unsustainable. I followed my therapist to BetterHelp from a couples therapy platfomr when my relationship dissolved to help continue walking me through the transition. I wish there were more options for payment.

Overall its been alright but the red flag for me is they charged me the whole price at once instead of month to month that messed me up. I messaged them and they did not reply.

I wish I could pay per session, opposed to have autopay on for every 4 weeks. Like most memberships, if life gets busy, you may not get what you’re paying for each week, but you’ll surely be paying for it. $110/90 per week gets pretty spendy. That being said, I have been working with a great therapist, my life has improved and it does help to have a regular weekly meeting arranged. The app is a bit glitchy at times and sometimes calls may drop, but you can text your therapist and receive responses before your scheduled session. I have noticed that session times got tighter, and billing increased. As well as there used to be free “seminars” you could sign up to watch live or watch a recording… and these are now called classes or group therapy and I do not enjoy this feature as much because, again, you have to pay for that as it counts as a session. If I weren’t traveling for work so much, I would look into an alternative therapy, for now, it works but I will not continue to pay more for less. BetterHelp needs to cap their increasing prices and provide more perks with the service that we are already paying for.

45 minute sessions are too short I think you need a minimum of an hour

The company can improve the customer experience better by -allowing the client to choose more than one language at the same time -allowing connection with a previous therapist - better interface with search button.

I can't make the better help website work on my computer and its a new computer with good specs so, I dont know whats wrong other than that its really helpful

great experience ; but pricing model is PREDATORY!!!! reasonable for the first few months but they will continue to raise the price of your membership the longer you stay on the platform, which paywalls any rapport or history you build with a therapist

It took seeing 5 mediocre therapists to meet one of quality. I'm sure they exist, but you've got to sift through a lot of bs. One therapist had her tv on during session. I was appalled. If you are a highly intelligent person already informed and doing the work, roll up your sleeves and get ready for a search!
