I’ve talk to different people outside of BetterHelp and it’s nothing compared to my counselor now. I’m 20 yrs/old and my counselor is the real deal. I connected with a Christian-based counselor who helps me out so much. Especially with me being an over thinker, having relationships issues, and seeking career advice my counselor never makes me feel anything negative. I love my counselor and this app all together. I have recommended family and friends and now I have family memebers that joined. Yes there were skeptical lol but they soon realized how dope this is. I recommend this to anyone who really need someone to shine the light on you and in you to bring out the greatness in you. It’s worth it and even if you don’t feel a understanding connection with your counselor you can always switch 😊

I signed up to BetterHelp to try to get some online counseling as I am an ex-pat living in Asia and have found it very difficult to get the kind of mental health support that I wanted. It took me a few goes and a few weeks to make contact with a suitable counselor, but the site was understanding and extended the period I had paid for. They answered my emails quickly and kindly. I finally connected with a wonderful counselor who is hugely helpful for me. My recommendation for anyone wanting to try the site is to be patient and expect it to take some time to connect with the right person for you, but it will definitely be worth it when you do.

Betterhelp matched me with the help I need, I'll be honest though the first match was not a hit but I switched therapist and found a therapist that works for me. I don't feel like I'm speaking to someone who "knows it all" because they have a degree, I feel like my therapist genuinely cares for me as a person and we have made significant progress. As far as the app itself it is easy to use once your account is set up, I just enter my pin and I'm in super simple. There's not a whole bunch of buttons to look through to find what you need, it's all laid out for you. I set up to get text reminders on my phone and emails this helps me to not forget about my sessions. All in all betterhelp is helping me to find my better me I want to be.

Better help connected me to Riddhi and I have finally started making progress on myself. when I got my first counselor and didn't feel like I was getting anything out of it, I switched and got my current counselor and am so glad I've stuck with it.

I recommend BetterHelp for anyone, especially if you are someone who is very picky when it comes to choosing a therapist. I was able to find a therapist who is perfect for me. I have worked through many things that I didn’t think I’d ever get through. In my opinion, BetterHelp is 100% worth every penny.

Pretty convenient for those of us working through this pandemic, as I can contact my therapist via text any time and my therapist and I have a weekly video session when I have time off. They ask you questions when you first start (do you want a therapist who's LGBTQ+ friendly? someone that specializes in trauma? etc) which I feel matches you with a therapist pretty well.
