BetterHelp connected me with a counselor almost immediately and I began working on my mental health with a certified professional who has been amazing. The site offers different avenues to helping with mental health besides talking to my counselor. Although pricey, I would recommend this site to anyone in need of mental counseling.

BetterHelp is perfect for my needs. Meeting by video chat each week is convenient and safe. My counselor is a great listener and very supportive. She provides resources and assignments to help me stay focused and actively working on my thought processes and goals. I have done in person counseling different times and feel this is just as effective. I was connected with a counselor right away. It did take about 5 days to get my first meeting because I delayed picking a time on her schedule and the openings expire a couple days out. Now we schedule my next appointment during our meetings. I didn't realize till I signed up that the meetings are only 30 minutes (At least the plan I chose) but those, along with a few messages back and forth in between, have been sufficient connection.

Better help is a wonderful app with so many useful and helpful aspects to it. You can have a weekly schedule, write the councelor in between sessions, follow the group webinars, use worksheets and information they give you directly and all at the same cost or power of actual counselors you would go to see in person.

I started using BetterHelp through a benefit that my college offers. As I'm going through a very difficult patch in life, due to numerous deaths in the family, job loss, a breakup and other personal issues, the counselor that I'm currently working with has been incredibly kind and understanding, as well as keeping an open forum where I can share my thoughts, which I do not get the opportunity to do elsewhere. She's offered some great feedback and has set a path for me to take in order to heal. I'm truly grateful for BetterHelp.
