BetterHelp has been great. I decided I needed to go back to counseling because I was having trouble working through somethings on my own. Covid-19 hit so face-to-face was not an option especially since I am immunocompromised. It took a counselor or 2 before I found the right one for me through BetterHelp. I am definitely seeing & feeling the changes & progress I am making with the help of my counselor. I would definitely recommend BetterHelp to a friend as another option to consider for therapy.

I have been using Better Help for over 2 years. I have had the same counselor all along. Patrick Currie is a godsend to me. I came to him with a lifetime of trauma, feeling low worth, repressed anger, conflict, depression & effects of sexual & verbal abuse, plus abandonment from my children. Patrick employs just the right balance of listening, affirming, validating with valuable feedback & helpful tools to help me sort out, recognize, grow & heal while empowering myself to make healthy changes & resolve issues. His methods, suggestions & caring understanding nature are invaluable to me!

BetterHelp is a fantastic step in the right direction for anyone looking to get help. You can use it as much or as little as you need it and you get paired with a therapist. Mine turned out to be amazing and now, my only regret, is that I wish I had started using it sooner.

100% recommend! They ask a ton of questions to make sure the therapist is the best fit both for what you're looking for and for what type of therapy will be best for you. There are a ton of options, different time zones, written, audio and video options. If you're not happy with the therapist, you can easily click a button for a new match. There's also a journaling option for you individually that you have the option to share with your therapist if you want to.

BetterHelp has been a gamechanger for me. I felt like I was being backed into a corner emotionally and mentally and I really needed someone to be a sounding board and help me with seeing my choices and seeing things differently. It has been an extremely wonderful journey this far and I always look forward to my sessions.
