I tried talking to a therapist a few years ago, it was hard to find one that was covered under my insurance. It was awkward because we didn't really connect but I felt compelled to go because it was in-person. I was going through a tough time recently and needed someone to talk to. I was skeptical at first because it's not in-person. The initial questions asked made it sound like BetterHelp is legitimately concerned about you and the fact that they pair you with someone based on your needs and you can easily switch is amazing. Fortunately, my first pairing was great. It's a really great service and has helped me a lot.

The lady I have is awesome. She listens and responds very quickly. Great advise and very helpful.

I have been using BetterHelp upon the recommendation of a family member. She loved all the options available to reach your counselor. And I do too! I love the ability to write a long message to my counselor while something is fresh on my mind. Even if it’s in the middle of the night! Then during our next meeting we can dissect my thoughts together. Every session my counselor asks how I’d like to connect. I prefer a phone call, but we could FaceTime or communicate through messages. This flexibility is one of the very best things about BetterHelp. My counselor, with my input, was selected for me and she is definitely an excellent fit. I am not in a crisis situation, but having the ear and guidance of a great counselor was such a good decision for me at this time in my life. I just want to be my best me! If you are on the fence, I’d really say give BetterHelp a try.

The pandemia. The uncertainty and the different ways to deal with anxiety in my place had me exhausted. I needed somebody that could listen.. A place where to look for peace of mind but I had no time to go to therapy nor was I sure I wanted to see somebody in person. Better help presented a perfect solution. Fantastic counceler and good platform with many opportunities to interact. It worked for me inmediatelly!

If you dont have anyone to talk to or anyone that can help you through a break down , I totally recommend Betterhelp. You dont even have to leave your bed to go to therapy .
