Betterhelp it's amazing therapy platform. I've been using it since March and I wish I found it sooner. I love that I can be in the comfort of my own home and meet with my therapist every week and the customer service is amazing. If financial assistance is something you need they are happy to help and I greatly appreciate that.

I would like to say that I’ve done therapy before and it’s honestly pretty hard to find a therapist you mesh with. Using BetterHelp is great because there’s a questionnaire asking you what your preferences are. My therapist and I matched perfectly and I’m very pleased with exercises resources and insight mine has given me.

Betterhelp is such a convenient way to get counseling. It's cheaper than many in-person options, and it's flexible. You can have your sessions from your home. Additionally, if you don't like your counselor you can switch.

I was hesitant to utilize online counseling for the first time, but BetterHelp has truly made it an amazing experience. It has been a great resource; especially during these uncertain times where some may not be able to get into to see their regular counselor in person.

My counselor is professional and engaged; she responds to messages in a timely manner and really seems to understand the sort of counseling and care I need. The BetterHelp platform is easy to use, and I like having everything in one place - sessions/communications with my counselor, journals, etc..

Don't be ashamed, dont let societal pressures and stigmas stop you from getting the help you honestly deserve. Face your fears, cry a little (or a lot), and seek happiness. Courage is facing the hardships of life even when you don't want to. It is okay, you are not alone. We are not alone. You have the answers to your problems, let someone help you seek your truths. Be kind to others, and most importantly yourself.

Just like finding a therapist in person, finding one online requires a good match between client and counselor. The first therapist I matched with was not the right fit for me, but BetterHelp makes it easy to request someone else without the awkwardness that would otherwise happen face to face. Initially, you fill out a questionnaire with a self evaluation of mental health symptoms and what you're looking for in a therapist (gender, area of expertise, faith-based or not, lgbtq or not, etc). It's basically like Tinder but searching for a therapist, which is a great concept. The BetterHelp platform works pretty well as the interface for your counseling environment - chat, file sharing, video and phone are all handled within the BetterHelp platform. You can access via web browser or mobile app, which is convenient. You get tons of email reminders and/or mobile push notifications to make sure you don't miss an appointment or message from your therapist. The BetterHelp team is great. Always soliciting feedback to improve my experience and satisfaction with my therapist (ex: surveys on my therapy experience with an offer to switch therapists at the end). The financial aid they offer is great. I wasn't sure if I would qualify, but still got a small amount reduced from my monthly payment. ~$300/month for 4 video sessions is a bargain considering the $100-$200/hour most therapists charge. I was skeptical about therapy online since I had only done it in person before, but BetterHelp exceeded my expectations and made my experience a positive one.

I've been with Mr Garrett for a solid 3 months and I've gained insight into places of myself that have been tough for me to see clearly on my own. Highly recommend!
