I have been using Better Help for a little over a month, and have already felt much better. They matched me with a counselor based on my needs. Let me tell ya it is the perfect match! I feel supported, encouraged, challenged, and understood. It's a breath of fresh air, if you're thinking about it, DO IT! Your mental health and loved ones will thank you! It is affordable and convenient!

This platform is a great way for me to receive the help I need and I am grateful for this experience. I live in a rural area with very little opportunity for counseling. Betterhelp has changed that. With the help of counseling, I am making changes that everyone will benefit from.

The first one taught me some basic techniques but I needed someone else with more expertise on my behavior/mental health symptoms... so I was able to easily switch and talk to someone else after I found their profile. I have had some counseling experience in the past, but whether it was me or the counselor I was paired with, I just didn't enjoy the experience. This all changed with BetterHelp. This is not your traditional counseling experience, so it may not be for everyone. In my experience, I was dealing with a lot of stress at work and feeling somewhat worthless. I came to BetterHelp just to talk to someone because I felt so alone. I am so happy I made that choice! The video/phone calls are short (about a half hour) and your counselor will message you throughout the day so you are in constant contact. BetterHelp also tries to pair you with the best counselor for your needs. I was looking for a life change type counselor that could help me manage my situation. Overall, I would highly recommend BetterHelp to anyone new to counseling or anyone that has had bad experiences with counseling. Nothing is more important than your mental health, so it is worth the try!
