I have never had more access to a therapist! This is incredible! I was worried about having virtual sessions, but I actually prefer them now. There's no worry about running into her at the grocery store or worrying about someone local knowing all your business! I was able to specify the exact type of therapist that I needed with many choices and a wide variety of specialties! I can see this being especially useful for people in rural areas that just don't have access to experts that fit their needs. I have been recommending this to everyone I know! IN LOVE!

Less expensive than other more traditional therapy and you can message your therapist at any time through the app! They may not respond immediately, but they'll get back to you as soon as they can. I also love that I can have a session anywhere and most of the time chose in bed in my pjs. Love this app!

This is seriously the best app to help you. The therapist are so great !! and they have webinar every week on different topics. Highly recommand.

BetterHelp works well for me. I really love the convenience and comfort of participating in therapy from home, without anyone or anything between me and my time with a therapist. Difficulty of access probably keeps a lot of people from pursuing support, and having my therapist simply "call in" at the arranged time each week is perfect. They also offer lower cost services for those of us without much financial means, so although I don't think they take insurance, I find it very affordable and accessible. Prices also go down if you stick with it, which is a very savvy mechanism on their part to get people to stick with it. Change takes time and quitting things before you've given them a fighting chance is a pitfall for many of us. I think it's important to manage expectations of therapy in general--all healing, in my estimation, is more about an individual's readiness and willingness than any other person's power to "apply" healing or change. The most insightful and brilliant therapist in the world can do nothing for a person who is not able to absorb and use the guidance. My BetterHelp therapist is excellent but a part of the effectiveness of the process lies in the act of pursuing (and feeling deserved of) support, being consistent and patient with the process, and allowing the elements of compassion, acceptance, encouragement, and grounding to build the healing foundation they can. Those dynamics are powerful, and it is within that framework that the expertise of the therapist may deepen the results.
