A great idea, for those of us who aren't able to spend $200 an hour.

I love the ease of access and the fact that I can pretty much reach my therapist at any time. She has been incredibly responsive and understanding. It helps being able to message her at any point where I'm feeling low. I had a hard time at first because sometimes it did feel like I was getting cookie cutter type of responses, but being honest and pushing through that opens up a wonderful resource for talking out your emotions. I haven't tried using the "schedule a live session" yet, but presume I will eventually. I've never actually gone to a therapist before so this is my first experience with therapy and I think it's become an incredible tool for me and it's been an easy introduction into it.

Any reservations I had when I decided to take online counseling with Betterhelp, were quickly overcomed. My counselor was very understanding, helpful and easily accessible, when I needed him. We have video sessions and I e-mail him whenever I need to. He responds within the day. His advice makes sense and is helping me sort out a lot of things in my life. The fact that I can do that in my own house, without having to worry about anything, at my convenience, is a big plus. I would use it again in the future whenever I feel I need sound counseling at an affordable price.
