Better Help got me connected with someone who I actually feel comfortable enough to talk to. I am not the type to do a face to face session and BH offers a way to get the help I need without having to push myself into an uncomfortable situation. My therapist is understanding and really listens and encourages me to grow.

I haven't done therapy before but was in a bad place and I figured I'd give BetterHelp a try after all the ads I've seen through Facebook and other social media. It ended up being the best thing I could have done. They assign you a therapist based on a questionnaire that they have you fill out but if you don't feel it's a good fit you're more than welcome to switch. The therapist I ended up with, Ashna Wallace, is amazing - her main field focus is very much in-tune with what I'm going through. She is very upfront but also doesn't push her ideas or thoughts on me. She lets me take things at my own pace but does gently play the devil's advocate and give me things to think about. I would recommend her, or BetterHelp in general to everyone. For someone who doesn't have experience in therapy and was very nervous about starting - I love that there are so many ways to access help. They have live chats, phone calls, video chats, or even just messages that you can do with your therapist; Also having groupinars for the group experience. 10/10 - highly recommend
