Therapy has been a financially elusive necessity for me. This makes for a wonderful happy medium, and my Doctor is exactly the breath of fresh air I needed. I love her so much and I'm thankful for this app. Being caribbean, I definitely wanted a Doctor that could understand the cultural aspects and it spins on what would be a normal everyday struggle. The one I was paired with may as well have been made by hand with a sticker that said "for [my name] from Betterhelp"

BetterHelp was a desperate shot in the dark when I unavoidably lost my previous counselor. They matched me quickly, perfectly, have answered me personally when I have a question and are affordable. I am so grateful.

To some extent, people working anywhere are fallible, and there will be less-good employees in every company - hence maybe some of these bad reviews. Personally, I have had a phenomenal time with BetterHelp. I signed up after a difficult time, and less than 24 hours later, I was matched with a therapist who wrote a long, thoughtful response to my entry email. At that point, I chose to pay and continue with this man and since then (over a year ago) we’ve spoken once per week. I can message him every day and get responses, and we have 1hr video calls once per week. Because of COVID, I am on a low income, and this hasn’t changed anything about the service. The therapy I have received via BetterHelp has been life changing, and I recommend it to everyone who is interested in self-development. So reasonable, quick and hassle-free :)

Do it, Sign up!!! During this pandemic it has been very tough! With so much going on when a family memento suggested I try BetterHelp I was like, well what the heck! The site, platform are so user friendly and intuitive! From payment to resources I felt that BetterHelp guides and equips you with what you need. My therapist Dr. Patrick, I can just rave about him! What a beautiful blessing it's been. He helped me through a very tough time and I'm ready to go for my goals and handle what comes yet again!
