It seems that the therapist who selected me as a client was a near perfect match in understanding me. She has been very prompt both in our sessions and in how quickly she responds to my messages. I have had other therapists in the past and she is the best I've had.

Basically, BetterHelp will match you with a therapist that they consider to be fitting for your needs after you fill out a detailed profile of yourself. My first doubts were about the price and the short 30 minute sessions per week. But now I see that it is worth it. Because there is a private chat to send messages to your therapist any time. Also, if you suffer from multiple mental health issues, or a different kind of trauma, BetterHelp can match you with a therapist that will be experienced in your specific issues. Which will give you a much better option than the traditional health system, that will be limited to a therapist from the area. You can also change therapists at any time way more quickly than anywhere else. Before, I was struggling to find a therapist that would be experienced in my needs. I am from a very small place in Canada with very few services for mental health, and BetterHelp matched me with a therapist from Oklahoma. My family and friends already see a difference. I keep making progress and my mood is getting better and better. I strongly recommend BetterHelp.

I have been matched to a great therapist, he is really professional, he never pushed his beliefs on me, and I have a huge respect for him because of that, I live in an extremely religious country, so the first time I have went to a psychiatrist, he was an extremely religious doctor and kept telling me I am not praying enough, so I left his clinic and never came back, few years later, my sister convinced me to give this site a shot, and it turned out to be totally worth it, for me, for someone in my situation where appropriate health care is not available, betterhelp was ideal for me, I got matched to a nice person, I am happy that I am changing my life, I deserve to be happier and that's why I chose to get into psychotherapy, however, this site is NOT for you if you have thoughts about HURTing yourself or anyone else, if you do,u need physical intervention not just psychotherapy sessions, and they put a clear disclaimer about it, and I 100% agree with this, they are being safe health care workers, and they are amazing 👏🏻 😊 Online therapy works for introverts, busy people, or people who are too depressed to get out of bed and shower, dress up to meet a health care worker, There's no shame in that, I found myself most of the days tired, can't make myself to do something, and at the same time I need someone to talk to, I have used phone calls instead of video calls, usually I am lying in my bed talking to my therapist, and I am totally Comfortable.

BetterHelp has been very responsive and made sure I was connected with the right therapist. Their follow up to any questions or concerns has been outstanding. Well worth every penny.

This is an awesome therapy tool. I love the therapist I have found and I can talk to her without ever leaving the comfort of my house! I feel like I really click with my therapist and I feel like usually it can take months/years to find a therapist that I really like but this makes it so easy

Betterhelp has helped me so much! It's very reasonably priced and the therapist I was matched with was amazing. Down to earth and very easy to talk to and you can always change therapist if needed. The app is very user friendly and I have highly recommended betterhelp to anyone who needs to get some things of there chest and have someone to talk to about the problems your having, it really helps to be able to talk to someone you don't know about the things you are facing all along. I'm 23 and have been using the app for about 2-3 months and it's been amazing I feel so much better and always look forward to speaking with my therapist.
