Good platform, provides lots of options for how to communicate with your counselor, and a lot cheaper than other options, even with insurance. They will give financial aid if needed, which is even better! However, for me the best part was my counselor, Cassandra Del Greco! She really understood my needs and provided me with the tools and support needed to succeed! I took one star off though because initially I was matched with a counselor that wasn't taking new clients. You'd think they'd have something to prevent that right? Also, not entirely their fault, but my friend wanted to sign up but they didn't have a counselor certified for his state, so idk if that's changed or if they've mostly got counselors from bigger states.

I have had the pleasure of using BetterHelp's platform to engage in therapy with two separate therapists who were both committed to addressing all and any of my concerns. My current therapist, Susan Hargett is a familiar, knowledgeable, and empathetic therapist who I would recommend to anyone seeking therapy for the first time or has had negative experiences in the past. While BetterHelp has had technical issues for me in the past (connectivity issues, or random maintenance), the staff are generally supportive, very receptive, and timely in their responses (no waiting a week for a response here!). As well, they offer financial aid in the pricing plans, which was a life saver for me. Overall, I highly recommend.

Betterhelp is a great and innovative way to counselling. It is especially great for those who don't feel comfortable doing physical appointments or find it difficult to schedule this within their normal routines. It is quite flexible with various options to communicate with your counsellor like voice, video, chat all at your convenience. They also have some caring counsellors, who take effort in understanding their patients. I do recommend betterhelp to all those seeking for affordable and convenient online support.

Betterhelp is therapy for the 21st century. It's online so it's there when you need it. But at the same time, I feel like there is potential for therapists take the easy way out, book as many people as they can and take advantage of the fact that there is no REAL human contact. Which isn't to say the service doesn't help people, because someone can get a lot of value and connection from a videochat, a phone call or a message.

Brilliant idea. Works great for me. I started when I wasn't sure when I'd move but wanted and needed support. This is portable, always with me and fits in my forgetfulness and lack of organisational skills! I actually find it harder to commit to physically going to therapy, I much prefer doing it in my house and bejng able to decompress in a personal space afterwards. My counsellor is great. The only issue I have is I thought I could get proper sessions more than once a week if needed but my counsellor is very busy. However, she is so good for me and well worth the money even if its just once a week. Plus she always tells me she can do brief messages whenever. Great idea and I am a fan!

Betterhelp has been a huge aid for me. The only thing for me would be tweaking the financial aid layout. Having to reapply each month can get a little taxing.

Though not really a replacement for in-person counseling, Betterhelp is a good way to find a truly _better_ helper when finding that right person is hard in the local area. It's a great way to 'speed date' licensed therapists and discover what style of therapy works best for you.

Betterhelp is exactly what I need at such a time as this. My counselor's insight has been invaluable to say the least, and the convenience of the entire process is really commendable. Just Great!
