We're sorry if you didn't feel you were getting true clinical support from the therapist you were matched with, Jens. Because we require all therapists on our platform to be fully licensed (including a relevant academic degree in their field, at least 3 years of experience, and at least 1,000 hours of hands-on experience), we expect them to be able to provide true mental health counseling. Thank you for reaching out Nat and we do apologize for any concern caused. It is true that your membership includes the option to schedule 1 live session per week but if you have more there is an additional cost. That said, we are always here to help in other ways, when you miss a week with your therapist. Just reach out to our Member Success Team and we are happy to help with account adjustments. We are sorry to hear you may have been unaware of the automatic renewal of your active account, Paul, and we would be happy to assist further. As a membership based service, we do charge upfront, which then allows you time with your therapist. While your account is active, you will be continuously charged so you can have uninterrupted access to your therapist. That said, you are able to cancel your membership at anytime.
