This is a valuable service to have therapy via online, by phone or video. I highly recommend this convenience when looking for therapy you would normally need to book in person. The app is so easy to navigate and can message your therapist when needed between sessions.

My Better Help therapist is one of the best therapists I've had. The first therapist I was matched with wasn't a great fit, and we were able to figure that out just by messaging; we didn't even meet! The Groupinars are a great resource to subjects that I want to learn about or learn more about.

I honestly didn’t expect Betterhelp to be immediately life changing. Having gone to “offline” therapy for years, online therapy seemed like it would be more of a bandaid or a stopgap to help me until i could find someone through more traditional means. What I found is that not only is my BetterHelp therapist helping me in ways I didn’t even know I needed, but the resources they have available through regular “groupinars”, aka webinars, is invaluable just by itself! From existential therapy, to inner child work, to attachment based relationship counseling, the Groupinars are live seminars by professionals that approach their presentations and q&a with compassion, patience, and grace. There’s sessions throughout the day, every day, and the content I’ve seen so far is GOOD, like real good. My therapist checks in regularly in between visits, and the BetterHelp platform has daily journalling prompts to help keep you thinking about your self-work in new ways. The journal entries can be shared directly with your therapist, creating a place to explore and unpack outside of the session, but still undet the guidance of your clinician. If you’re on the fence, just do it. If you don't vibe with the first therapist they match you with, request a new one. Therapy is about YOU, and the therapists will not be offended if you feel like you would benefit from someone different, you have to be honest with yourself and not be afraid to try a few people to find a good fit. Please take care of yourself and get this help if you can, it can help more than you realize!
