Hi there, my name is Rain and I am a 26 year old female who supports BetterHelp! When I was four a traumatic event resulted in a diagnosis of ADHD, reactive attachment disorder, and court mandated therapy. Although I was not against therapy, it was never an option to me until I was 18. After a few years of trying to self medicate I decided to sign up for therapy on my own. I saw an elderly female therapist for a year who I stopped recieving care from due to mal-practice, then I consistently saw a male therapist for over three years. I liked my therapists but never found the "perfect match." My current therapist is Dr. Capri Cruz who I have been seeing for a few months on BetterHelp. She is that perfect match! I am thankful to say that because of the features offered at BetterHelp such as free reschedules, variety of session options, and the ability to message my therapist I now look forward to going to therapy.

Betterhelp and the counselor I am currently seeing have helped to change my life in the best way possible. I have always been hesitant to begin therapy and have been dealing with depression since I was 13 (now 29). My life has never felt more amazing or been better. I highly recommend it.

Better help is more than helpful than I ever could have expected. I thought online therapy would be awkward and frustrating. It turns out its the opposite! I feel more of a connection with my online therapist than I have with traditional therapists. I feel the amount of help I have gotten in such a short time is incredible vs traditional therapy. I love that I can message my therapist every day if I need to and can get weekly sessions. I also enjoy the bonus webinars that dive deeper into common issues people may have. It feels like a free therapy session listening to webinars that are directed at the specific topic you might not have time for during a live session. I also like that if I needed to, its easy to change therapist. And the option to chat online instead of going in person or calling is very helpful when living with a full house. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone. I think everyone should join betterhelp to at least see what they can do for you!

I have now had 6 sessions with my counselor and I am absolutely loving it. I did not greatly connect with the first counselor assigned to me but I was able to switch very easily and immediately found someone that was a perfect fit. My counselor Olivia has been a game changer in asking insightful questions, keeping me accountable to my goals that I set each week, and giving me helpful mental tools to practice when I struggle with anxious thoughts or unwanted emotions. I love that I can message my therapist any time in between our sessions and always get a response back. Additionally, I had a minor blip in my payment setup and customer service was incredibly fast and helpful.
