I was suggested to consider Better Help by my daughter as I had previously not had a great experience of successful counselling. I desperately needed help, having reached a point where my drinking was taking absolute control of my life and I was close to loosing absolutely everything. I was matched with Angela who from the moment we met we clicked. It felt like I was chatting to an old friend who had known me for years. Knew all my struggles and was desperate to give me the support I so desperately needed. In the few weeks I have been supported by Angela I have had a few 'wobbles', and Angela has been there immediately to give support - something I have never experienced before in counselling. The accesibility and support has made all the difference and I know now Angela is there for me virtually 24 / 7. But, simply knowing I have Angela there with me - supporting me is keeping me sober! I feel alive in a way I haven't for decades and I simply cannot thank Angela and BetterHelp enough! It may seem a large investment - but trust me, it's absoutely worth it! Whoever you are, whatever your struggles - I urge you to give it a try. I did and I honestly think it's saved my life!

My therapist is empathetic and competent. She listens to my issues without judgment or criticism. Suggestions are offered on ways to alleviate or prevent anxiety and resolve recurring communication issues with one of my coworkers.

My first experience with Better Help wasn't that great; however, when I reached out to them they immediately responded, changed my counselor, and credited time for me to gain the full experience. They were very helpful and wanted to make the situation right. Their customer service was superb, which I would not have known, had I not had an unfavorbale experience in the beginning. The company has been awesome to deal with. My new counselor, Valorie is insightful, provides tools, support, and responds quickly to requests. I have appreciated her support during a time of loss and grief in my life. She is always prompt for appointments and communicates any added materials she thinks I might find useful. I would highly recommend Better Help, even if you don't have a first-time great experience they will make it right until you do.

The cost of BetterHelp is average per session for a therapist. I find it more helpful than traditional therapy because I was able to describe my reasons ahead of time in order to begin talking about solutions from day 1 without having to take a session or two to get the background information in place. The online feature is fantastic!

I have had some rough experiences with getting help for my mental health issues in the past. The traditional setting never mad eme feel comfortable or that my voice was being fully heard . Betterhelp matched me with a great therapist and we have such productive conversations . I have finally been able to make moves in my personal life that I haven't ever been able to do before . I still have work every single day and am from where I want to be but BetterHelp has helped guide me in the right direction... my direction!
