I am beyond impressed with the entire experience. I was pretty sceptical when I booked but after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. So glad I took the chance. My advice is to complete the initial form with as much detail as possible. I was matched to a therapist exactly how I requested. To the point we have exatly the same haircut and hair colour! Fab!

I NEVER leave reviews, but BetterHelp truly changed my life for the better and I want to get the word out that if you're looking for cheap but effective mental health support, BetterHelp is what you're looking for. I had just moved to a new state where I knew no one, didn't have a job, and had an unimpressive amount of money. One night when I called a friend back home she said something about having a BetterHelp appointment coming up. I looked BetterHelp up and found out that it's remote and cheap, and that you could choose your own therapist on it which was incredibly helpful. Every therapist on BetterHelp lists what they specialize in, a description of themself and how they do therapy, and then their list of reviews from past patients shows up so you can see if they're the right therapist for you. The first therapist I chose specialized in the right things I was dealing with but we didn't totally click. There are no obligations or fees to stick with a therapist, which made the process of looking for someone new very painless. The second therapist I found was a perfect match! We matched about 5 months ago and I still have appointments with her over video!

I’m so thankful for this experience, and be able to have therapy in my own home. I am thankful for the doctor I was paired with. Dr Merritt really listens and gives you feedback back. My Dr was able to give me tools in our first session to help me and I was able to apply to my life. This app is amazing and should be able to reach out and help so many people. We need to know we can get help for our mental well being!
