Do not recommend
I do NOT recommend the female advisor they give me she was judgmental and unprofessional she had her opinion on different cultures and almost sounded like she is pointing the finger at peoples faces and she was outside with a loud traffic and loud noise around her had attitude problems in her voice, never again, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else Date if service is random but it was either 2022 or 2023

Paid a whole month
Paid a whole month. only to be given one session in the middle of the month. Therapist didnt even show up. How can they let that happen. There is no fast answers. i havent even used the services and they charged me £240

If you are lower income or on…
If you are lower income or on disability, this still costs $380 a month. For people only making under $3000 a month and living in Canada, it’s not affordable. Average housing costs per month are at an all time high, around $2400 a month, plus cellphone bill($100), hydro and all other utility/internet bills($200) car payment ($200) car insurance($170)and gas prices ($300), plus groceries ($400+) plus all other things we need($200). We are going into debt as is. And now to be able to get mental health help is going to put us further into debt. Just really disappointing we have no access to affordable mental healthcare services. Better help should allow for coverage from outside sources.

This company is so toxic they barely…
This company is so toxic they barely vet their therapists and the therapists have been so dangerous to my family. One therapist told my family member "have you thought about getting over it". Go private, it will cost the same or less but your money actually goes to the therapist of your choosing. The therapists get about £20 an hour from what you pay on here. They've also been taken to court so many times for issues with client data being sold. So so toxic

was not really worth it
Absolute waste of time. Requested a refund was met with very rude responses direct to the point saying "no refund sorry." i honestly do not recommend anyone use this site for any kind of mental health work, You dont even get to talk with your therapist for the price you pay you are only given ONE time chat/call /video one of those for 30-50minutes depending on therapist. then you have to pay extra for more of those, the only "chat with your therapist all the time" idea is that you can text them any time you want and hope they respond in less than a week before your week paid is over. I do not mean to trash you betterhelp but your concept in my opinion will drag out mental health issues (obviously for you to make more money) much longer than it should be dragged out just because of the amount of delay between therapists replying and such issues. if you dont mind the delay and the extra cost for everything, then this may be for you.

Watch out!
Something is very wrong with this team. They better help themselves first or they will be out of business sooner or later. Rude support and you better watch the charges. Because there is no notification if you go back to your account after a year! They just charge you!!!!!!Interestingly when they want to be rude in their emails they do not use a name and just sign it as “Better help team” at the end of email. There is no ethics or professionalism. They used to be very good but something has changed big time. They have no empathy and this has become only about money. Watch out!

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. I am a victim of sexual coercion and assault and my therapist was someone who I was supposed to trust and confine in. She was very careless in our last session and said some very inappropriate things that almost led me to quitting therapy as a whole again. I worked hard to open up to receiving support so this experience was truly awful and I really had to work hard to make sure not to close off again. Please do not come to BetterHelp if you are dealing with situation of sexual abuse or any intense situations like that. It’s not worth the gamble of being treated in a way that won’t help you with your healing or growth.

BetterHelp is an awful platform
BetterHelp is an awful platform. They are non responsive, have a very rigid structure and make it impossible to communicate with them.
