I love betterhelp and my therapist. I got an appointment fast. My therapist is very understanding. I especially love the recaps she does at the end of each sessions. I get to read over everything we discussed. I can send her messages and she answers quick! Great app, wish I could’ve found out about this sooner!!!

If you are struggling mentally or even emotionally don't be embarrassed to seek help. I have found that talking with someone who HEARS my words and doesn't have a personal interest in my family struggles is the best help. I can talk to friends, I have many, but each one is going to give me advice based on their experiences. I like to hear myself say the words to someone not close to me, and then ideas come to me on how to improve. If I record what I am saying and play it back like it is someone else saying the words, I can give the most wonderful advice to myself. Having a therapist is similar to that.

I was hesitant about online therapy at first, but after starting in person therapy I thought I'd give it a try. I have severe depression and suicidal thoughts and it helped me a lot to have someone who knows what they are talking about validate my feelings and being able to write text messages whenever I feel like it. I chose text-only because I also have social anxiety. I always got fast responses even when we did not have a session scheduled. I recommend trying Betterhelp for everyone that is struggling, the online seminars alone are really interesting and in my opinion it is worth the money.
