I just got my most uncomfortable…
I just got my most uncomfortable therapy session ever in my 10 years of therapy journey. Firstly, she talked more than us individually talking. It’s a couple therapy 45mins session, the time I’m talking is 15mins, my bf took 15mins, and she talked 15mins at least - that showed how unprofessional a therapist is, you’re here to listen, not to teach; secondly, she’s very judgmental and jump to the conclusion. For example, she asked my boyfriend a question, and without hearing my version of story/my side of feedback, she immediately jumped to conclusion and just straight up pointed her finger at me saying I’m wrong. her original word even used “I gotta call you out on this one, you’re the bad guy.” Like bro, what kind of therapist say this kind of stuff to people - her job is to heal, to mediate, not to scold people. So unprofessional And yet, these kind of people exist in BetterHelp. Don’t waste your money. Find a professional in clinic. I paid $90/45mins to get scolded and personal attack.
