Terrible website, a shambles. Refused to recognise my password and failed 7 times to send re-set link. Do not use them. I guess they aren't that concerned about getting you better help.

I don't understand why you have not been replying to my emails and following my instruction, following billing. I have used this service in the past and you where very accommodating. This feels like a huge shame, and if you had simply refunded December back to me as I requested I would be continuing to use the platform. I will also be reviewing you online, very aggressively, as you have prioritized money over clients support. Which is a huge shift from two years ago, and this tells me this has been a choice rather than a "system or practise" issue. VERY DISAPPOINTING, SHAME ON YOU.

My first therapist sounded suspiciously like AI. Her response to an outpouring of emotion was basically "and how do you feel about that". It took a week to ditch her and start looking for another therapist, then another week to find someone new. He sounded good, assured me he cared and was going to give me the attention I needed. And immediately went on vacation for a week before our first session. So three full weeks went by and I got absolutely no help, just insult to injury. So I cancelled and asked for my money back, as promised. They refused and charged me for the sessions I supposedly had, even though I got nothing out of them. In the end I was in a worse mental state than I started, and less a few hundred dollars. So basically, this was a scam from start to finish and ended up doing more harm then good.

Overall I am not very happy with my experience with Better Help. I personally messaged my therapist and she confirmed my appointment time and I also got a confirmation email that my appointment was Monday 12/9 at 6pm. I followed the instructions and my therapist never showed up to the appointment. I find this highly unprofessional. If you are looking for a therapist I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have been going through a lot of anxiety and stress and thought BetterHelp was a good resource to try for therapy. I signed up, paid for the subscription and booked my first session. Around 12:00pm the day of my first session (scheduled for 6:30pm) I get an email from the therapist saying she needed to reschedule for a family emergency. Totally fine, I have a family with young kids so I get it. I rescheduled for today and an hour and a half I get a message saying my appointment is cancelled and to let her know when I’m available to reschedule… zero explanation as to why so close to an appointment I have been looking forward to because I need help has been cancelled. I messaged back right away and zero response. This has put an extremely bad view on BetterHelp in my mind and I’m not sure I want to use the services. Extremely disappointing that I spent money on something that I never even got to use or get help from.

I have signed up to better help as I am not feeling very good within myself. However since signing up I have never actually progressed with any therapy as taking that step feels like a lot. However I have been getting emailed a lot from better help with pushy offers for discount and being told that it's the "last chance" "this ends today" which i just find awfully pushy and pressured for a company that is supposed to be helping. Just makes you realise that everything is about money and they don't actually care about you or your experience at all.

Started using this service, cancelled service due to lose of Employment and in Financial hardship, £180 was taken out of my Google pay Not a continuous direct debit or standing order, since the 23rd October 2024 since payment was taken, I am still waiting for a Full refund, Emails after Emails, with excuses, delays, trying to intise me to stick with the service by providing extra weeks, then saying with operations support, same email from different employees taken no actions like an robot Automatic email Response, for a service that is providing help with mental health and emotions, This Company has only made my mental health worse with emotional stress and Anxiety with Financial hardship, so reluctant in issuing a refund ABSOLUTELY DISCUSTING SERVICE! Companies are quick to take your money but never to return! Why does it have to be so difficult and a fight, don't they think me loosing Employment is not hard enough

I was finally scheduled with a therapist then when the appointment time came I was about 5 minutes late due to technical issues with my camera and once they were resolved I sat there messaging with the therapist telling me to reschedule. When I went to reschedule for later in the day there was no availability, so I requested a new therapist those therapist also had no availability even though I had taken the entire day to make sure I was prepared mentally to deal with this. I decided my next day off I could do the same even though it would mean another day dedicated to this process. Then when I selected a therapist with an availability that worked with mine and seemed to meet enough of my needs I scheduled an appointment. Then proceeded to fill out the rest of the information and my appointment was cancelled and the therapist no longer had an appointment available in my availability. I then tried changing therapist again for one that meet my availability and the only ones with availability did not meet my needs. I had reached out to support but they have yet to reach back out.
