Hi Andy, If you canceled, you would not be charged further unless you resubscribed. If you resubscribed and were not using the service, you would be sent automated emails letting you know you had low account activity on your active membership. All that said, we have requested the email address linked to your BetterHelp account so that we can have a supervisor look into this further for you!

Hi Clémence, We do apologize that we have not been able to help with a refund, but the email address and payment details you have provided to our team are not attached to any active BetterHelp accounts, or any payments we have in our system. We would be happy to look and see if the charge was attached to one of your other credit or debit cards if you are willing to reply our last email and provide us some of that information to help us with the search. If you paid via Apple Pay or Google Pay, we would need to collect different details to help locate the charges, as mentioned in one of our emails. We hope to be able to help get this resolved!

Hi Dean, We're very sorry you were dissatisfied with your experience with our Member Success team. We've located the interaction and will work with the agent's team lead to help them improve their communication -- we can do better here. Regarding the billing, It seems the issue and misunderstanding is coming from the 4-week billing cycle, which allows for up to 4 live sessions. We generally do not refund for sessions canceled by the therapist, but instead provide membership extensions to allow ample time to make up for the canceled/missed sessions. That said, we can refund for unused sessions at the end of a billing cycle if the member is no longer looking to continue the service. Our apologies again for the disappointing and confusing experience.

Our Member Success team can generally work with members to provide extensions to a billing cycle if there are issues using a particular piece of the service (such as weekly live sessions).
