Use the help. It's not expensive but really helpfully

I knew I wasn't going to have enough money to pay for a therapist in my city, but I needed to speak with someone about my recent diagnosis with an autoimmune condition. One of my friends suggested BetterHelp as a more economical option. I applied for the financial aid and was granted financial aid under special circumstances. I was finally able to afford to see a therapist and the experience has been great so far.

I was kind of skeptical at first but I was fully invested and I needed help I didn’t want to have to pay hundreds of dollars for a therapist so I went and tried out Better Help and my therapist, Sirribi, has helped me immensely and it’s only been two or three sessions. I 100% can say Better Help is well worth it especially if you want to be discrete and not let anyone know your personal business. I do wish I could spend more time in a phone call but I’m definitely appreciative and you can still get a lot out of 30-45 mins if you get straight to the point.

Not being tech-savvy, I wasn't sure how I would do with on-line counseling. But Better Help was user friendly and well-organized from the start. The website is easy to navigate and I like the flexibility of scheduling my appointments myself at the end of each session. The therapist they found for me was excellent! She was kind, compassionate, knowledgable, and professional. She sent me session notes, daily journal prompts, and did mid-week check-ins. She gave me the tools I needed to get back on track!
