In regard to your therapist experience, the message response time can vary a bit but if you aren't getting the support you feel you need, we can always work with you to extend your membership time and assist you in finding someone new. Hi Hannah, We agree that it's important to be mindful of who you trust for mental health support. We are the world's largest online therapy platform in large part due to our reputation for being able to make mental health support accessible and convenient for people all over the world. That said, we are very sorry if you ran into issues with the therapist(s) you were matched with not showing up for a live session, or a Group session. We would appreciate the chance to look into this further, make sure we take appropriate action, and sort out any other concerns you may still have. Hi RJ, We are truly sorry to hear about this experience you had with this person. Since our phone receptionists have no way to make a manual match for a member, I'm wondering if perhaps it was a different online therapy service you were working with outside of BetterHelp? Also, while any information you share in your initial intake questionnaire (when creating a BetterHelp account) are available for your assigned therapist to view in order to learn about your case, any additional information provided to them can only be provided by you as the member directly. All that being said, we would certainly appreciate the chance to look into these claims further and see if there's anything we can do to help. Hi Sharon, Apologies for any ambiguity! We state on the payment page that by submitting payment information, you are agreeing to ongoing charges every week until you cancel the membership. Our plans allow for weekly sessions, but access to several other features as well.
