I have been struggling mentally for a while. I had previously went to counseling in person and did not have a great experience. It really put me off from finding help for myself for a while. A friend of mine actually influenced me to download this app and look for somebody to help me after a really hard time. Better helps personalized matchmaking help me find the most amazing therapist. I trust him completely and my life already feels so much better just getting to talk to him. Better helps discounts for also a main contributing factor for me downloading. I’ve been in therapy with BetterHelp for about 4 months and have had wonderful experiences with my therapist. She was the first person recommended to me because I asked for a female with a Christian background. I had needed someone I could trust and talk too for a long time but I couldn’t get my family to understand it. I guess I couldn’t really understand the feelings myself for a long time. Once I felt comfortable with her, she knew what to ask and I had some surprising answers but we got to the bones of the problem together and we are working through it together. I could not be happier with any therapist anywhere. Rita is a blessing I never knew I could ever find and afford. I’m not planning on things being normal too soon, but I know in my heart if anyone is going to get through it with me it will be Rita.

Originally I was skeptical about online therapy as I felt that it would be too impersonal but as I now have completed several sessions successfully, I can say without any doubt that my therapist is able to make that real connection I'm looking for, show compassion and help my healing equally as well as if I was sitting in his/her office.!

The therapist that was chosen to work with me was a good match. I honestly didn't know what to expect in the beginning but I can tell that growth has occurred even in a small period of time.

I like the tools available. The daily mood tracker and journal entries help me keep track of my progress as do the tracking of my goals. Many classes are offered as well.
