First of all the variety of therapy is so great that there are options of things I never even thought were issues. Secondly, the way they pair you up with the best person for you is awesome, even if you don't click with the first option they offer, its ok, they have more to help choose from! I really enjoy the fact that I am receiving the help that not only I deserve but my loved ones as well!!! A better me is a better person for my family!!

I have been fortunate in that my work has offered me the chance to participate in BetterHelp. It came at just the right time, as I had recently lost my mom and even more recently lost my husband of 37 years. I had participated in therapy off and on for years, always in person until COVID. My previous therapist had recently retired, but I had felt comfortable doing the video sessions with her because she knew me. But I have to say, that thanks to a good match with a therapist, BetterHelp has been a great opportunity for me! I am able to schedule easily around my work obligations and have greatly benefitted from the support I have gotten. I have recommended it to my son, but he's very hesitant to try any therapy. I'll keep trying to get him to do Better Help - probably by phone for him! :) It's nice that there are options for everyone.

It took less than a week to find the perfect BetterHelp therapist for me. I went into it knowing I’d likely have to shop around for the right therapist until I felt a decent connection. The first 2 were fine, but I could tell I was looking for a different connection. I was lucky enough to find therapist #3 by Friday of my first week in BetterHelp. Six months later, she continues to support and guide me in our one-on-one sessions, messages through the app, etc.

It’s true, you have to find the right therapist for you. With BetterHelp, I was matched with multiple therapist and chose one that I felt would match up with my needs. I had one session with that therapist and was not pleased with my experience, and switched immediately. The therapist that I switched to has been the best one that I have ever had and has been amazing experience this past year. Once i found the right one, everything fell into place and I come to love therapy sessions, personally growing, reflecting, and learning through them.
