BetterHelp has been a wonderful experience. The basic questionnaire regarding preferences matched me up perfectly with my therapist Shakina. The app is easy to use and allows for messaging communication as well as self-scheduling, journaling and probably more options Inhavent taken the time to explore. I so appreciate having video capabilities as a therapy option - beyond convenient. Top notch and would highly recommend!

BetterHelp hasn't disappointed!
I recommend BetterHelp to anyone seeking therapy. I love the convenience, flexible schedule & formats available. I couldn't be more satisfied with the therapist they paired me with! I love her!
I'm trying to do my part to tell others, because I've been so pleased & more than satisfied with BetterHelp!

Really helped lower my overly-high self-esteem, to recognize how deeply irrational and stupid I am, and to stop trusting my own thoughts and feelings
I went to BetterHelp looking for validation, but I fortunately learned that I am a deeply irrational human being, that everything I do and say is wrong, and that I should trust other people's senses and experiences rather than my own.
I tried multiple therapists at BetterHelp, and they all condescendingly informed me that even though I had a bad experience being homeschooled and have never known anyone who had a good experience with it, that most kids do in fact have wonderful experiences being homeschooled. I now realize that I deserve to be talked down to and it's irrational for me to trust my own experiences. I should believe everything other people say even if they present no evidence to back it up, and always remember that my experiences are *just* my experiences.
I also confided to a therapist on the platform that I still live with my parents, and that I'm often scared to do basically anything, because my mother expects me to defend and explain everything I do. The therapist asked me repeatedly why it mattered. I couldn't think of a logical answer, and now I feel bad about myself for feeling bad about myself for being so irrational. I don't know why anything matters. Since I tried BetterHelp, I've spent most of the past six months sitting in my bedroom pacing and rocking myself, because I don't know what to do or why anything matters. Any time I start to want anything, I remember the question my therapist asked me, "Why does it matter?", and I realize that it doesn't matter. Then I spend some time feeling bad about myself for being an irrational spank butt who thinks things matter, waiting until my irrational desires and emotions go away. While I still crave human connection and validation - I'm such a defective little shitbag I haven't been able to completely detach myself from my irrational emotions like anyone else would do - but at least now I have an appropriately low level of self-esteem about it, and I understand that people who require me to defend and explain everything I do are not doing anything harmful or destructive to me, and that I should never have any emotions and certainly shouldn't take any actions that I can't explain. I am now completely mentally paralyzed, as I should be.
I also told the therapist that I sometimes feel sorry for my dad because of the way my mom picks on him, to which she replied, "Why do you feel sorry for your dad?" Before now, it had never occurred to me that it was irrational to feel sorry for my dad, but now I know it is. Sometimes I still feel sorry for him, but at least now I know that this is irrational, and I feel appropriately bad about myself for feeling emotions I can't defend or explain.
I had such a big ego before I came to BetterHelp. I trusted at least some of my own thoughts and feelings, and I thought maybe it was okay to have subjective feelings and opinions and that my mom was wrong to require me to defend and explain myself. Now I know that nothing matters, and that I am deeply irrational and inferior to everyone else. I no longer have any motivation to do anything, and I know how stupid I was for wanting to do things.

Excellent resource to find a great therapist quickly.
BetterHelp is an excellent resource for people struggling in life. I believe there is a real barrier to finding a good therapist locally with few choices when it comes to urgent availability, and more often than not, a kind soul and professional therapist is very much needed right away in life’s difficult moments. BetterHelp found me a great therapist within 24 hours and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you, BetterHelp.

Great therapist, in my own home
Being able to get therapy in my own home has made a huge difference in my ability to reach out for help.
My expert therapist has been able to zero in on my issues like no other, and helped me make huge strides… in only 3 session so far!
I am so grateful for this service.

I turned to Better Help after hearing…
I turned to Better Help after hearing from another persons positive experience. I have had therapy many
Times over the years and only once found it helpful . I was apprehensive about starting better help in the beginning . At first I was matched up with a therapist and upon reviewing the credentials and some information I discovered I felt that it may not be a good match and never kept my first appointment . It was very easy for
Me to look through other suggested therapist and read up on each ones bio, I did really find the information provided on each therapist very helpful in me evaluating one I thought may be a good match . I am thankful for the one that I have been seeing. She is a blessing
