I am enjoying the ease of accessibility to my therapist that BetterHelp offers. I appreciated the survey that helped me find a great match to my needs and preferences with my therapist. The system is well organized and easy to use to contact and have phone or video meetings with my therapist. Overall I have found it very helpful and more comfortable and affordable for me than other options I have tried.

BetterHelp offers a great online portal to connect clients with therapists remotely. The website is mostly very intuitive and the video conferencing system within the portal offers an easy-to-use and high quality video/audio experience. My only concern with the BetterHelp site is from a cost perspective. My medical benefits do not cover the cost of therapy sessions via BetterHelp, and the website offers customers a limited weekly/monthly subscription fee which is all inclusive but quite expensive. I would like to see a lower cost subscription option to allow customers to pay for one-off therapy sessions on an "as needed" basis.

Better Help can be very good. The platform works well and I had a really great therapist. It is generally affordable too. However, be very aware of the billing practice before you sign up! It is not made clear that you are billed based on a monthly subscription, not on a per session basis. They advertise a per session cost but the monthly fee is the same whether you have 1 session or 4. They also do not give you any notice that your renewal is coming up so mark it on your calendar each month so you don't get billed if you aren't planning to have additional sessions.
