My video call does not work and would like This fix by BetterHelp please. Other than that I love the app and I love my therapist.

There are things with BetterHelp that I didn't even know you got. The classes on BetterHelp are extremely helpful and allow you to self-reflect more. There are a couple downsides. One of them is that insurance is not accepted. Another downside was that I was under the impression that I would be able to have one therapy session a week because of it being set up that you are billed weekly. My therapist was very busy and didn't have openings for a couple weeks after I was matched with her. After my first therapy appointment, she didn't have any other availability until after the month of me signing up was over. I unfortunately can't afford another month and only got one therapy appointment out of it. I was able to attend a group therapy appointment on top of it, though, which was nice. I just wasn't able to get the more personalized experience.

After my third therapy session, I can say that I am very satisfied with the start. I won't lie, before I started, I had my doubts about it being an online service provider which I had never dealt with. Yet, my concerns were positively addressed. The financial part of it is totally genuine, my therapist is very nice, and what I really appreciate is the chatting option which allows me to stay connected with my therapist on a daily basis. I will definitely have a more accurate review and description as we progress with the therapy sessions further.

BetterHelp is more than just one-on-one therapy. The group therapy sessions and classes are so valuable for peer support and education, respectively. There is also a journalling tool so you can check in with yourself daily. The first therapist you are matched with may not be the right fit, but it's very easy to change therapists within a day or two.

The best thing about Better Help is definitely the choices- you can choose another therapist if the fit isn't right and you can choose how you speak with them- camera, telephone, even messaging if your signal is a bit rubbish. The only downside is that if your signal is problematic, there's not much the therapist can do... but BH are pretty good at getting back to you and providing, for example, extra sessions.

To start with,i was frustrated because i had to wait so long for my first video session so i cancelled and chose a differant theraphist.Not your fault. The theraphist i have is great.Her humour really breaks the ice.BetterHelp has responded quickly about issues. I believe they provide a platform for online theraphy that is real.

I have an amazing therapist. He is so kind and wise. He was my second. I can not stress this enough. If you do t like your therapist change immediately. Everyone I know who loves their therapist on this app has changed at least once. I did, but I would never change again.

Great app...prices are high though, if I didn't have a good job I would not have been able to afford it.
