I took a chance with BetterHelp to grow and find another way to get help. I love that this platform offers phone, chat, or video therapy options, along with the ability to message your therapist at any time. The classes helped me grow and learn the most as compared to other therapy journeys I have done before. This time I took the time to discover more about myself by learning more through the classes. It also allowed me to truly by open and honest with my therapist. This allowed me to discover a few more pieces of my puzzle. I am so grateful for BetterHelp and my chance I took on them.

The therapist is a good mirror of how the company is doing. My therapist, Lydia Jenkins, is easy to speak to, understands what I am saying and feeling and is empathic to my situation. She helps me identify my good qualities and how to mitigate the things that bother me in life. It is a great experience and only after two sessions, I already feel better. Looking forward for my next session.

Although at first it seems pricey, you can get a weekly therapy session, a weekly group therapy session AND take a class on literally any mental health topic you can imagine every week. They also have financial aid available. You can try out different therapists, guilt free, until you find the one that is best equipped to help. Texting and phone calls are supported in times of need and general updates, and the video sessions run smoothly. I cannot recommend BetterHelp enough!
