The most beneficial counseling and therapy experience in 35 years. As long as Jason Belcourt is available, I will be a weekly lifetime client! I say, if you visit a foreign country and do not speak their language nor understand the culture or currency (money) exchange rate, what is the FIRST thing you do?… Hire a tour guide! Right? So why hesitate to proceed with getting on-line “better help?”

BetterHelp enabled me to access therapy rapidly when I needed it the most. One of the first blockers of getting therapy is finding the right therapist and navigating costs and insurances. BetterHelp is easy to use, affordable compared to traditional therapy and I managed to find a therapist that resonated with me quite fast. I would really recommend this service for people looking for a therapist and who aren't sure how to get started.

I really like this app. I think BetterHelp asks the right questions and has a good database of therapists to choose the right one for you. The app has decent technology options for contact and calls are fairly good quality. BetterHelp is very convenient, and the extra worksheets and resources are very helpful. Definitely worth the price.

Vicky Kooner from BetterHelp worked with me to find a way to become less reactive in the face of triggers. I felt I had on control, and would blow up in the face if I felt attacked, misundersood, not wanted, or otherwise unsafe. And I couldn't find a way to stop the trigger happening, and make enough space to slow everything down, manage myself, and then deal with whatever there was to deal with. She was patient, insightful, compassionate and supportive. I felt safe enough to be completely open and do the work of practicing doing things another way - and it works. I'm really grateful to her for everything she's done and would not hesitate to go back if I find myself stuck with any unwanted feelings or behaviours in the future.
