Thank you BetterHelp for putting a great therapist in my path and now there is nothing I’ll find as challenging in life as I did prior to meeting this awesome wonderment that is Jack English. Thank you for being you and all that you do. I appreciate you. My life won’t be the same again because of BetterHelp and the hard work made simple in matching me with the perfect therapist to suit my needs.
I’m forever indebted to BetterHelp for changing my life forever for the better!

BetterHelp has been great for me!
BetterHelp has been great for me! I finally decided to try a few therapy sessions, and I already feel so much better. My therapist has helped me to reframe negative situations and helped me to take control by making plans for the things causing my anxiety. I really love my therapist! It’s like talking on the phone to a supportive friend who gives the best advice.

A good choice of Therapists/ Modalities
This platform is really useful, in view of the long wait times in the Uk, via NHS, for talkig therapies. It means people can now gain access to therapists that are specialists in a variety of issues, which is extremly helpful for more complex matters that may take time to process, that quite frankly, the NHS unfortunately doesn't have the resources, time or sadly even the trained staff, to help the growing lists of people with, for example in areas like ADHD and Autism, as prime examples.
It has a good choice of therapists, genders and modalities. Prices to fit most budgets and also a choice of level of experience to choose from, in your therapist.
*In my view, the best part is this*-
If you find that the first Therapist you choose, you just do not quite click with them, no problem! It's free to change to someone you feel more compatable with, which is fantastic, as you are not stuck paying for sessions with someone that you just do not feel you can open up to and progress with!
Flexible times, daytime or evening sessions available. Plus therapists can be contacted inbetween your agreed sessions, if needed.
Another option available, is work can be sent to you on the online portal for you to workthrough inbetween your sheduled sessions and they even have a section for you to use to journal.
I found my therapsit Edyta, to be both proffessional and compassionate and knowledgable of the needs of those on the spectrum, with her many years of experience and thorough additional checks, I felt safe to handle some quite challenging subjects, as she made me feel safe and grounded at the session end. At the start, my therapist was very clear with me on what issues may or may not be appropriate for online and what may be better served in a one to one situation.
I liked the fact that this was settled at the offset and how we discussed how to navigate these matters safely. I found this reassuring, as it showed me my therapist's professionalism, without being so overly risk-adverse, that it could prevent a client from accessing much needed support, which can sometimes happen.
This is also reasuring if you have never used an online therapist before, so make sure to ask questions at the start, if you have any concerns, it helps you both to make the most out of your sessions and will help you to feel safe and supported, plus a good therapist will take time to reasure you and explain what to expect at the start, including being realistic about any limitations of therapy.
I was lucky to experience this with my therapist Edyta, who also took additional details, like my GP in accordance with her own professional registration bodies requirments, for safety.
Plus, you also have the added bonus to join in on group sessions, on a range of different topics, that may come up for you or you may find of interest or support!
So if you are tired of months struggling on a waiting list, need something that is flexible timewise and *reasonably affordable*, in therapy terms, then maybe this platform is the relief that you have been looking for. Good luck, I hope this helped and you find what helps you x

BetterHelp-EVERYONE needs it
BetterHelp was recommended to me a long time ago. I always went to create an account but never followed through because it didn’t take insurance, and I can’t afford OOP. Finding mental health help has been one of the most challenging experiences of my life. Here I am, gasping for air, my head held barely above water, and I’m begging for help. “We don’t take insurance here,” “It’s going to be $100/session”, etc. I was at the end of my rope. It was miserable. She never even knew what we talked about in the prior appointment and during those months of waiting, I’ve spiraled out more times than I can count. Anyway, I quit going. My insurance copay was $55/session and I just said screw it I need better help than this. So I began hunting..never found anyone who had an OOP in my budget, someone who was within a decent distance, someone with availability per my recommendations from my psychiatrist, etc. I finally bit the bullet and looked into better help. MY LIFE CHANGED, again. But this time, well at least the last 4 weeks, have been a game changer. I literally have major anxiety and so on, so I freak out meeting new people. Better help has a live texting option and I’ve done that for every session so far. I’m obsessed with it! I can write out what I want to say and what I feel so much better than speaking it. My therapist match has been amazing and a perfect fit. I literally look forward to my sessions with her every week. You can live text, live video chat, or live talk on the phone for sessions. You get to pick! You can even mix it up and do different styles for every session. I love that about it! I highly recommend BETTER HELP to anyone who struggles with any type of mental, emotional trauma. Really i recommend EVERYONE go to therapy but apparently that’s not good to tell people! So yeah, BetterHelp is actually cheaper than sessions with insurance. You literally can get FA help too for a discount. You pay one amount/month and you have access to constant messaging with your therapist (24/7). It has saved me and my relationship…i don't know where I or we would be without it. GET IT! DON’T WAIT!

Grateful to have found BetterHelp…
BetterHelp has been an incredible resource for me for the past year and a half. Using the online form I filled out, they matched me with a therapist to completely understands my deep and long-term issues and is working with me to peel back the layers.
The level of professionalism, number of ways to connect, and quality of my practitioner makes me feel very safe and cared for.
