BetterHelp has been fantastic with meeting a therapist and the ease of connecting with them virtually. I feel there’s more privacy with that and it’s easier to communicate. The one complaint is that they do not accept insurance (they do accept EAP). If they start accepting that, this will truly become a game changer.

So easy to get set up, lots of options of payment support if needed. My therapist is fantastic! The app is so seamlessly designed and offers lots of different options for getting in touch with your therapist. To improve, it would be nice if there were options to not have a session every week without still paying for every week. I’d imagine, that’s why people end up leaving.

I only give 4 stars because I had difficulty finding a good fit for a therapist. Once I did I got a great therapist who in a short time speaking with her she supported me in a breakthrough and I a grateful!

My therapist is great but it’s missing one star as the app itself is very clunky, has many glitches and isn’t as easy to use as I’d expect or like.

The subscription model can catch you out, but they have excellent practitioners and attentive customer service. I needed therapy in a dark moment last year. But I hadn't appreciated I'd signed up to a £60 weekly subscription, or at the time I just didn't process this. I notified the accounts team, and you can see below that the services team were quick and helpful below. The exchanges with the therapist suggested Better Help do have excellent practitioners.

My experience with Betterhelp has been great because I was paired with a great therapist. The site itself is ok, and everything works. I won't use the journal there because I don't know about their privacy. My therapist also doesn't use it. The audio quality for the calls could be better both on the website and the app. And you can add this service to the annoying long list of services that require Chrome to work correctly.

Been great on individual level, but when I want to expand to couples therapy, it has been extremely difficult to set up separate account.
